Janet Louise Gilstrap

Janet Gilstrap, 78, a longtime resident of Vidor died November 10th, 2015 in Beaumont. She was a member of the Friends of the Vidor Library and also various craft clubs. Janet was accomplished in quilting and crocheting and was known as a lover of cats. She is survived by her loving husband, Bill Gilstrap of 32 years, 3 sons, Jim Farrington, Troy Farrington, and Terry Hill , 2 daughters, Holly Hill-Bryan and Jenny Hall, 1 brother, Glen Hadfield all from Salt Lake City, Utah. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Janet was preceded in death by a son, Kelly Farrington. A graveside service only will be on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Restlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
