Imo Lee Franklin

Imo L. Franklin, 88, of Vidor died Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. A native of Clarks, LA., she has lived in Vidor since 1957, and was a homemaker. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday, August 12, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home. Imo was preceded in death by her husband Jack D. Franklin, son James A. Franklin, daughter Beverly A. Franklin, parents Tobe and Mattie Brown, grandsons Bobby Don Powell and Jimmy Jack Franklin, and five brothers. She is survived by her son Dempsey L. Franklin and wife Margaret of Vidor, daughters Barbara A. Williams and husband Don, Linda D. Sturm and husband Lynn all of Vidor, and Dona Simmons and husband Ricky of Lumberton, five grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
