Gerald Anthony Huncharek

Gerald "Wolf" Huncharek, 70, died Saturday, July 16th, 2016 at his home. He was a native of Cleveland, OH and a longtime resident of Vidor. Wolf was a U.S. Army veteran POW during the Viet Nam war and enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Mansfield Cemetery off Alamo Street in Vidor. He is survived by his daughter, Acacia King of Vidor, a son, Jeffery Elwell of Temple, TX, 2 granddaughters Elania King and Samantha Elwell, 2 grandsons, Logan King and John Elwell, 2 brothers, David Huncharek and John Huncharek and brother and sister-in-law, David and Krisi Olsen of Mauriceville, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Laura Huncharek, and his sister, Kolene Huncharek. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
