Gary Wade Smith

Gary W. Smith, 55, of Vidor died Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Gary was born on Setember 11, 1954 in Cherry Point, North Carolina to James and Delores Smith. Gary was a longtime resident of Vidor and was a self-employed carpenter. Gary served his country in the US Army. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home. Gary was preceded in death by his brothers Clint and Michael "Smutt" Smith. He is survived by his son Josh Smith of Richwood, TX, daughter Josie Smith of Kountze, TX, mother Delores Smith of Vidor, TX, brothers Steve, Randy and Butter Smith all of VIdor, TX and 1 grandchild.
