Frank Duchene Courtney

Frank D. Courtney, 76, of Vidor died Friday August 20, 2010 at his residence. A native of Beaumont, TX, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Frank was a retired electrical instrumental technician with Dupont in Beaumont and was a member of New Life Tabernacle Church in Beaumont. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 23, 2010 at New Life Tabernacle Church, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Frank was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Lucy Courtney,step mother Marna Courtney, brothers J.D. Courtney who died during the Normandy invasion, and step brother George Yellott. He is survived by his wife Dollie Courtney of Vidor, TX, sons Robert Courtney of Fort Erwin, CA, and Joseph "Jody" Courtney of Vidor, TX, daughter Fara Rollins of Vidor, TX, sister Margaret Forgas of Beaumont, TX, step brothers Woodrow and Arlis Yellott both of Vidor, TX, and 7 grandchildren.
