Billy Dean Christian

Billy Dean Christian passed on to a better life at 11:45 am on November 4, 2013 at the age of 87. Born on Sept. 3, 1926 in Elida, New Mexico, Mr. Christian became a lifelong resident of Vidor, TX. A loving father and loyal friend, he served his country in the US Army Air Corps during WWII. Billy was preceded in death by the mother of his children Evelyn Christian and his parents Peck and Zola Christian. He is survived by his daughter Paula Cooper of Vidor, son Ricky and wife Paula of Vidor, son Jim and wife Janet of Elgin, TX., son Bryan Christian of Vidor, granddaughters Atasha Quebedeaux and husband Eric of Vidor and Holly Christian of Elgin, great-grandson Christian Quebedeaux and great-granddaughter Erica Quebedeaux of Vidor, Sisters Mary Zell Hawkins of Vidor and Beverly Thibedeaux Christian of Louisiana. As well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A memorial service will be held at 3:30 pm Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home.
