Bernice Middleton Small, 86, of Vidor died Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at her residence in Vidor. A native of Mississippi she was a lifelong resident of Vidor. Bernice was a homemaker and a member of Memorial Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Williamson Cemetery in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Friday, April 6, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home. Bernice was preceded in death by 2 sons Randy and Edward Middleton, 1 grandson Christopher Nash and 2 great-grandsons Chance Eaves and Kayson Nash. She is survived by her sons Preston Middleton of Alvin, TX, Herbie Middleton of Livingston, TX, Kenny Middleton of Vidor, TX, Moose Small of Vidor, TX, Clarence Small of Vidor, TX, daughters Barbara Courmier of Beaumont, TX, Rhonda Courier of Vidor, TX, Darlene Banuet of Booneville, MO, Ruby Owens of Vidor, TX, 53 grandchildren, 79 great-grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren.
