Barry Mclaughlin

Barry Lynn McLaughlin, 73, of Vidor, died Thursday, October 6th, 2022 in Village Mills, TX. He was a longtime resident of Vidor for 25 plus years, lived in Beaumont for 25 years prior and grew up in Depew, New York. Barry was an Eagle Scout and he loved being out on the boat and anything on the water and he also enjoyed his 5 o'clock tottie time with his wife and friends. He was an avid fan of Top Gun and Nascar Racing, and most importantly loved spending time with his family especially his daughters and grandchildren. He was a man of few words but lots of strength, wisdom, and perseverance. Cremation arrangements are entrusted with Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor and the family will have a memorial service for him Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor at 2:00 PM. He is survived by the love of his life Carolyn McLaughlin, his children Shannon and husband Kevin Gilmore of Beaumont, TX, Erin and husband Dwight Thomas of Village Mills, TX, Michael and wife Sarah DeLuke of Dallas, TX, and Jennifer Womer of Prosper, TX, siblings Kevin and wife Sandy McLaughlin, Brian and wife Barb McLaughlin, and Laurie Streebel and husband David Long, grandchildren: Zachary and Nicholas Gilmore, Faithlyn Thomas, Hudson Womer, Logan DeLuke, Layla Clasby, and Korben Clasby, also survived by numerous close friends.
