Billy C. Cormier, 78, of Vidor died Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Promise Hospital in Nederland. A native of Beaumont, he has lived in Vidor for 16 years, and was a retired grocery store owner. He served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He was a member of the Seniors Club at his church Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor. Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 8, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church of Vidor. Billy was preceded in death by his daughter Lynn Cormier, and his sister Dorothy Johnson. He is survived by his wife Margarita Cormier of Vidor, sons Barry Cormier of Las Vegas, NV., and Dale Cormier of Silsbee, daughter Lisa Redmond of San Clemente, CA., brother Vincent Cormier and wife Connie of Lumberton, and by numerous grand and great grandchildren.
